Reply to Union of Concerned Scientists, Smoke, Mirrors and Hot Air

On January 3, the Union of Concerned Scientists released a report “Smoke, Mirrors and Hot Air” attacking groups which are skeptical of the alarmist view of climate change, one of which is the George C. Marshall Institute. The report argues that support for institutions like the Marshall Institute specifically intended to spread inaccurate information about climate. In a press release issued January 4, Marshall President Jeff Kueter rebutted this contention and defended the right to free and uncensored scientific investigation, expression and association.
