We Can’t Help Talking About the Weather

I wanted to prove them wrong and show them that the stereotype wasn’t true. My nationality doesn’t have to determine what I say and do. But I failed miserably. And so did my mother when she sent me an email earlier today culminating with the most exciting news from home: “It stopped raining for a little while this afternoon”.

We’re British. And we can’t help talking about the weather. And you think it makes us really boring.  But perhaps we’ve got a point — the climate is really important.
